What the app does not collect

The app requests access to products only. It does not access orders, customers, or payment information, and it installs nothing on your storefront. It therefore collects no personal data about your customers, and does not track visitors to your shop.

What the app collects

Account data. When you install the app, Shopify provides your name, email address and user identifier. This is used to authenticate you and to associate your settings with your shop. The legal basis is performance of the service you requested: the app cannot work without knowing which shop it is acting for.

Shop data. Your shop domain, and the products and prices the app works on. The app records the price a product had before each change, so that previous prices can be restored and so that a discount can end correctly. This is business data, not personal data.

Cookies

The app uses a single technical cookie to keep your session open while you use it. It is strictly necessary for the app to function and is not used for tracking, analytics or advertising. The app uses no third-party cookies and no tracking scripts.

Where data is stored

On a server located in Germany, within the European Union. Data is not transferred outside the EU.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties. The only parties involved are Shopify, which provides the data, and the hosting provider that operates the server.

How long it is kept

For as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall it, Shopify notifies the app and requires deletion within 48 hours; the app then deletes your session, your offers and the recorded original prices. After that, price history cannot be recovered.

Note that uninstalling does not restore prices. If a discount is running when you uninstall, products stay discounted: Shopify revokes the app’s access at that moment, so it can no longer write prices. Pause or delete running discounts before uninstalling.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to its processing. Write to info@neeply.it and you will receive a reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Shopify additionally provides standard mechanisms for these requests, which the app supports: requests submitted through Shopify are handled automatically.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Substantive changes will be communicated to merchants who have the app installed.
